Meet the Teacher

Hi Ya'll!

I'm Kadi Roethele and I just moved to the great state of Texas from the other great state of Louisiana. So far, i've learned that everything really is bigger in Texas.... from the scorching hot summer to the freezing winters.  With all its greatness and bigness, I've just about conquered my 1st full year of teaching the TEKS.  *GASP*... it gets better... So far i've taught 74 4th graders, 16 Firstie's, and 36 Kinder's...*BIGGER GASP*.. thats a total of 4 years :) and i've loved every minute of it.
Here's where it started... I graduated from Nicholls State University, located in the south of the south of Louisiana in Thibodaux.  I started teaching at a small private school, Christian Life Academy in Baton Rouge.  I taught Kindergarten my first 2 years and LOVED sculpting the minds and hearts of such little learners.  After 2 years in kinder, I switch to First grade... fell in love all over again.  After my husband getting an amazing job opportunity, we moved to Texas leaving me forced to switch yet again.  So... here I am, teaching 4th grade, and loving every day of it.
